CNPC CEO Engr. Noel Florido was invited to be an expert speaker at the 3rd National Coco Coir Summit held in Davao City last July 29. The summit, which was organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Regional Operations Group, was attended by various key players in the Philippine coconut coir industry.
Aside from Engr. Florido, those in attendance included Hon. Rafaelita M. Aldaba, DTI Assistant Secretary for Industry Development Group, who spoke about the ASEAN Economic Community, and Mr. Fakih N.P. of the Fakih Group of Companies who discussed the Prospects of Coir Products in the Middle Eastern Countries.
