CNPC CEO Engr. Noel T. Florido attended the 4th edition of the India International Coir Fair (IICF) last 15 – 18 July, 2016 at Coimbatore, India. The Coir Board of India extended the invitation to CNPC to showcase its country’s latest coir processing machinery and equipment. The fourth edition of the largest ever showcase of the capabilities of Indian coir sector was held with added features in Tamil Nadu, the production hub of coir fibre and coir pith.

“Apart from the regular features and pageantries of the event, the main objective of the fair is to build up linkages for market development and expansion of the horizon of coir trade and industry in a multi-dimensional way,” according to the NICCT website.  “It is also proposed to organize Buyer Seller Meets (Domestic and International), Coir Seminars, Investors Meet, All India Road Show, etc. in the IICF-2016. A minimum of 100 buyers from EU, USA, CIS, LAC, Middle East, etc. are proposed to be roped in for the International Reverse Buyer Seller Meet besides innumerable stakeholders like wholesalers, buying agents, traders, etc. for the Domestic Buyer Seller Meet. The fair will present a confluence of manufacturers, exporters, technology providers, machinery manufacturers and importers of coir across the globe.”
