CNPC CEO Engr. Noel Florido gave an overview of the coco coir industry cluster at the Regional Coco Coir IC Forum which took place on March 17, 2016, at AMCO Resort in Baler, Aurora. He shared CNPC’s experiences in growing the business in Quezon province and offered advice on how CNPC’s success can be replicated in Aurora province.
Aside from Engr. Noel, various stakeholders and key players in the industry value chain also attended the event, among them representatives from the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) and DPWH, who imparted valuable information and much needed motivation for the coconut farmers of Aurora.
