CNPC CEO Engr. Noel Florido talked about expanding the opportunities for the Philippine coconut coir industry through a “small brother-big brother” arrangement at the 3rd National Coco Coir Summit held last July 29, 2016 at SMX, Lanang in Davao City. Speaking to a group of business owners, entrepreneurs, government officials and various players from the coir industry, Mr. Florido said the small brother-big brother concept is an ideal set-up in cor processing.

“There are groups or coops which have the capability to produce in small scale but are not qualified to take on big supply and installation projects. Hence, the need for consolidation,” said Mr. Florido.
